I would like to change my antenna. What choices do I have ? Right now, I have a huge piece of metal on my trunk. My first BMW 318is had a smaller one and it looked much better.

Personally i think that the OEM antenna looks the best. Electric is nice, goes up when i want it on and is normally very sleak with my trunk. On both my E30's I've replaced the gasket around the antenna because once it starts to leak its all over for your antenna.

Try this website. I don't see E30 on there but I'm sure you can retrofit it from another BMW.

Ooooh! Borbet Type Cs. I love those wheels. I had them on a 325is back in 91 when it was new. I still think they are some of the best looking E30 wheels ever built. Too bad Borbet doesn't make them anymore.

Cool antennas but we need to come up with a solution for the base since these just screw onto an existing base. Maybe something at the PicknPull.

Anyone have any ideas? If you've never replaced your antennae the cable antennae attachment on BMWs is different (smaller) than on domestic cars.

Do the later cars have the same attachment as our earlier power antennae cars? Then we could use a Z3 base.
