There won't be any camber differences between the two sizes unless you plan on changing the suspension up as well. I personally think that the multi-spoke design works better on the 17's. The 15x6.5s are just too narrow for good rubber and don't look much bigger than 14s because they are so narrow.

Konig rewinds.  do it.  Or if you can find some Remembers, do that.

I bought Konig rewinds when i first bought the car. 15x7 is a good size. Not sure if ET0 is the best though, I've heard ET 20 is ideal but if it's just a matter of shaving a fenderlip or rolling it then I'd probably still do it.

I sold them before ever getting to use them as that's when my cyl. head cracked and i needed money.

They don't look the "best" of all the options, BUT for the price and weight they are a good choice. I bought them in E30 size and was told I could only get silver. I think they look way better with darker centers. I'm leaning towards buying them again if i can't find a deal on anything else.

I've got tires for 15" but I hear 16" is a good compromise size (for that "bigger wheel" look) although tires are more expensive.

15x7 ET24. Fills the fenders nicely and wont rattle your teeth out or rub on anything.

you should look at the 16x9 bbs reps being offered in the group by on r3v. they sound like they're going to be a nice wheel.

oh, and they're direct fit wheel.

I run the 17x7.5" Kopi reps in the summer and get lots of compliments.

I have some 16x7.5' Borbet Type T's, styling aside, I think the 16" size is a perfect balance of wheel size and ride quality, without getting too spendy.
When installing springs (eibach) and sport dampers, I was really glad I did not go to a 17" wheel as the lower profile tire (i run 205x50x16 tires) would produce a firmer ride, etc.
I know Portland has some nice potholes and rough roads here and there :)

Oh yea, they sure do, but in the areas I'm at (Uh... richer areas?) most of the freeways and major thuroughfares are all new and smooth.  I only really find myself avoiding potholes when I'm in a few areas of Portland itself.   I lived in Seattle prior to Portland so I know how to avoid potholes that Portlanders only have nightmares about. :)

Rewinds aren't too bad, but ET0 will give you the sportmax look.  If you're debating these 2 the Kopis win hands down, IMO.  I'm pretty sure Mel is out of the 17" Kopis right now though; I think I read it on R3V.

Tim

BTW, have you checked out all the specE30 wheels at the Rewind pricepoint?  Team Dynamics, the new Tire Rack wheel, etc?  If you're going to go cheap you might as well get something that's a direct bolton and strong.
