clutch switch?
« on: June 28, 2008, 08:16:05 PM »
I was wondering... I had the car inspected and the mechanic said that there was a switch missing... because he could "start" the car in gear without pressing on the clutch.

Does a 1991 318i have such a switch???

Thanks for any input!

No, there is no clutch or neutral safety switch on these cars, I don't think they appeared until the E36.
