Banned from Hypermilers
« on: June 20, 2008, 11:24:17 PM »
Haha, so I just wanted to search on the hypermiler forums, but apparently I can't even register.  I was able to see like two pages and than I got banned halfway through the registration process.

Guess they found out I drive a car that gets 10mpg city and 15mpg highway:

Generally, if you get banned for inexplicable reasons its because
A) a person was banned where there individual IP was similar to yours
or
B) The person who was banned has the same IP as you do.

I'd say contact the admin, they might be able to sort it out.

Wow, that seems a bit touchy... Seems the strangest people get banned; all of the people who are actually useful but make one false move, or less, are taken out. Go figure :(

I think you need to show proof of sitting in Berkeley's trees and flinging poo at police to join some of those forums.

Visit HERE for a plethora of 318iS stuff and some other randomness.  Would you say I have a, plethora, of pinatas?

That is, if prius driver's actually cared about the environment, they only seem care about having the trendiest car or who is the most frugal with their gas money.  All the people I know who have prius' also have large houses, with air conditioners, hot tubs, decorative lighting in their gardens and house, etc...

Oh yeah, to back that up, a lot of recent studies also have shown that the overall energy and materials used to make a prius makes a bigger/worse impact on the environment than the gas that they save.
