Ignition Key Cylinder

Hello, need help here is my issue. Key will only turn to ACC and will not go any further will not start the car at all. How do i remove the ignition key cylinder? I am hoping that I can replace the key cylinder by myself. Thank you and hope to hear from anyone soon.
Sorry forgot to mention 1991 BMW 325I 2dr
