In Nebraska the dmv doesn't give a crap, which is good. Bad news is registrations are SUPER expensive, but you can't have everything.
Anyhow. My exhaust has always sounded like poo. Like a buzzy vibrating piece of crap. I've tried all kinds of stuff to solve that and I still haven't. BUT, last week I deleted the aftermarket cat that was on the car. Looked like a magnaflow. No external damage. Completely rust free.

I've never had a car wake up from pulling the cat before. The difference is night and day. AND, my first full tank of gas in town netted me 24mpg. Before I was averaging 22. Still not fantastic mileage for how slow the car is, but considering I have a 3.91 diff, I 'm fine with it.
Holding the cat up to the light I could see light on the other side, but clearly it wasn't working like they're supposed to. I just can't believe how much happier this m42 is. revving over 4k actually makes more power instead of just more noise.
