heater problems...
« on: June 09, 2008, 12:50:20 AM »
I know it's June and all, so a heater shouldn't be a huge concern right now, but mine is doing something really strange. I noticed the other night that the air would only blow hot if my revs were high. If I was just cruising, the air was cold. Any ideas on what's going wrong?

Sounds like a clogged heater core to me.

if it's a clogged heater core, what's the best remedy? can I flush it? buy one from a junk yard? get a brand new one?

check and see if the hose coming out of the heater core is hot when heat is on full blast and the thermostat is open. either way your going to need to check your heater core.
