IE 22/19 sway settings
« on: June 04, 2008, 09:44:24 AM »
Hey guys, I have the IE 22/19 adjustable sway bars, right now I have the fronts on medium and the rear full soft.  I'm looking for suggestions on settings from anyone else with these, right now the car feels pretty good but I do track it on a semi regular basis and haven't had time to play with the settings yet.  I don't mind different settings for the street and track but just looking for anyone with these and if they have a set up they really like as a starting point and I realize that what you like might not be what I like and that finding the setup I like is up to me.  I would like to keep the car pretty nuetral and maybe have just a touch of oversteer.  I have dinan springs on the car and Bilstien sports if it is any help.

In general, increasing stiffness of sway bars decreases grip.  So stiffening the rear sway bar in relation to the front bar would likely make the car more prone to oversteer.
