yea def, i read zoso's 25$ mod for the keyless entry, and my locks work like a charm, don't even have to worry bout getting my key stuck, you can easily find lock replacements on ebay and the for sale part of forums for dirt cheap.  Good luck

But are the parts interchangable??

If I remove the loncking solenoids, and the central locking cylinder, and replace with manuals, will I run into troubles?

Has anyone ever cracked one of these doors open before? I sure somebody has...

How were the locks setup?

Why not just lock (or unlock) the car from the trunk lid?  If the door locks are giving you grief as far as inserting the key and being able to lock or unlock, just use the trunk lid key cylinder to lock or unlock the car...  Of course if your trunk lock is not working, then you're SOL.

If those are that bad, I would check into getting autoloc door setup. If I remember their like 200 with all the mechanisms. Otherwise I bet you could pull the mechanisms out of the door if your replacing them with the regular ones. Only issue I see is that your going to have a different key because the locks are different.

Edit: Looks like autoloc doesn't have the mechanisms, only the actuators and such. So if you had the manual locks you could switch em, but I don't think theres any way around getting new door locks to keep being able to use your door locks and not go to trunk

well looks like I'll just start replacing locks as I can....

But I'll do the keyless entry mod first.

I just really like manual door locks. And If I could, I'd go to manual windows aswell....

It's just less things to fail.

I just bought the REC-43T and I have a couple questions...

I know that the 4 wire plug connects to the wires in the trunk as per the directions on zoso's site.  Run the red wire directly to the battery with a 1A fuse...got it.  But what does the two wire plug go to?
