Paint prep and things

I have my 91 318is apart (parade rest) for paint and was wondering if there are things that should be done while in this state. I have taken pictures of things like panel vin numbers and such because you can't read the rear quarters with the bumpers on. Windows and sunroof are out also. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
