I highly recommend Ireland Engineerings polyurethane bushings. 35 each tranny mount. Check them out! Not the greatest M42 selection but they rule! Out of Cali. http://www.bmw2002.com

I'm using E28 528i (Green) motor mounts and AKG E21 motor mounts with aluminum caps. The entire car vibrates a lot, but the throttle response is incredible. You're looking at $60 for the motor mounts and $70 for AKG tranny mounts, $130 total for a track-proven setup.
