Well yesterday I FINALLY installed my stainless steel brake lines and I didn't have to remove the rear subframe!!  it really isn't that hard to get to.  I'll get around to posting a write-up if people want one.

Yessa... please.  Although I not only had to remove the rear subframe...   I had to repace the entire hard line that went to the master cylinder!  Thank got there is a decent junkyard within a stone's throw of the shop!  I strongly suggest staying away from rustbelt cars...  and kick me in the head if I ever find another "great deal" on another midwest rustbucket!  Had to salvage some good used rear ABS sensors too I destroyed them trying to removed them from the rear trailing arm assemblies.

Are these the group buy lines you got through Korman?  I was going to participate, but I wasn't sure who made the lines.  I got mine from Bavarian Autosport and they are the Goodridge lines (both DOT and TUV approved).

Unless Zoso already has one, post it up. Write-ups are always handy so far as you're detailed.

One other trick to getting the older ones off is to cut the rubber hose and use a deep socket to get the end loose.
Whenever I get to it, I'll put the SS lines I have waiting on the shelf for over a year on my car. (yes, I am lazy)

yeah I got the lines through the Korman GB, they are made to Korman specs by precision lines or something like that.  Ohh and the Korman ones are DOT approved also.
