That is very interesting development indeed. Basically you could use stock Motronic unit almost as basic aftermarket ECU. Of course there are some features that Motronic does not have but the price is also different.

This could make using different methods for air measurement much easier for example. And after each modification, you could optimize the maps if you know what you are doing.

Will follow this development closely, OBD-1 software is coming out in two weeks, then we know more :)

From what I see the user interface is non-existent. There is no way I'm going to start poking hexadecimals into an ecu. Need to see some screen shots.If it gets a "Megatune" type front end I might be interested. I've been using MS2 extra now for about six months on my rear mounted turbo stroker 325 and want for nothing. For NA stockers I'll stick with a Mark D. chip.

You have a rear mounted turbo E30? Where can i get some pix of that bad boy
