Did a quick front rotor and pad swap ( std issue Brembos and Axxis pads) today and am very thankful that the PO cared enough about the car to have done the job properly before. I was slightly concerned as the car hadn't been driven much in the past few years and the parts on the car were pretty old, though very evenly worn. Everything that one would put anti-seize on had it, which made disassembly much more pleasant than it could have been. OK, the caliper bracket bolts (the big ones) were godawful tight for scrawny old me, but all else went very easily.
The little beast goes to the mechanic to get a clutch and maybe control arms on Monday and rear brakes either tomorrow or next weekend depending on weather.
Even with the rear brakes yet to be done, she stops much, much better than before.
Next: H1/H4 upgrade, new fog lights, minor rust repair, Bilstein HD's, and a muffler - current one has a loose baffle.
