Power Steering Line PN's?
« on: May 10, 2006, 08:39:05 PM »
Hey I'm trying to get new PS lines for my car.  They were all leaking.  I'm not replacing the rack, or pump, but adding Lucas Stop-Leak and want to replace the lines and the reservoir.

Reason I ask is I don't think RealOEM has current part numbers.  I can't seem to figure it out.  Has anyone replaced these and can give me the PN's.  There are 4 of them.  Two high-pressure, two low-pressure.

I have these so far...

32-41-1-135-936   PS Reservoir to Pump
32-41-1-137-153   Pump to Rack (high pressure)
32-41-1-133-401   Return Hose (Rack to Reservoir?)

There's another high pressure line, I don't have the PN though.  Are the above PN's correct.  Again, don't just tell me what RealOEM says...   Let me know if an online retailer has them listed out or if you've ordered them, please let me know what the correct numbers are.  Thanks in advance!

Okay, I've gotten no response.  No one here has replaced thier PS hoses?

Here's the pic from RealOEM:

But, the part numbers might not be correct.  I don't think No. 1 in the pic is applicable.  It doesn't look like anything I pulled off the car.

No 12. I have, with the accurate part number.  This is the return line.
No 11. I have, with part number 32 41 1 135 936.  BavAutosport also lists this as the correct part number for our cars for "Reservoir to Pump", although is does not match the part number in RealOEM.
No 5.  I have with part number 32 41 1 137 153, which is the high pressure line.  This again, is not the same part number as listed in RealOEM, but it might be accurate.  I don't know.  The ends look different from what I pulled off my car.

RealOEM lists this part number as 32 41 1 141 426.

And, special thanks to BMW who don't stamp part numbers on anything!

Anyone replaced these recently that can shed some light on the part numbers or if I have the correct hoses?
