m42 hoers power? and new member car pics

what are some of the first things one can do to get some extra power out of an m42 in a 1991 318i? im new to the e30 world but not to cars. i had a 1976 2002 before this 318i. im planing on a chip and a few other doodads but i was wondering if there were any less obvious things. i know there are with the m10 so there might be here. thanks!

i have bilstien's and h&r's in the mail plus new mounts in the mail
blacked out grill
all red tail lights
clear side makers and parking lights
fog light block off plates and new emblems are in the mail to!
i think im missing something here...

Nice looking car dude! I see your door lock does not work, here is a link for installing remote door lock. I got mine in the mail today and will install this weekend.
