um, you just grab the bottom lip in the front and pull up on both sides (driver and passenger) of the bottom part of the seat. they just pop up and then snap down, like 2 seconds to do. then to get the back part out you just take the bolts out (one on each side) of the metal brackets (you just uncovered these by removing the bottom piece, they are in the corners). once the bolts are out you just pul up about 1-2 inches and she's free! basically you pull up unbolt 2 bolts and pull up again. i could do it in a pitt crew it's so fast!

What do you want a link for? You can use a mallet or a swift stamp with your foot to punch the perforated panel out. That's what I have always done.

Are you trying to mount the sub without an enclosure? I'm not the extreme audiophile but you'd have to select a sub that can handle the volume of the trunk if you want to go that way. Any audio site or shop can help you calculate that. As for a specific write-up, ask Zoso to make one, he's the King of DIY

It can be done:

That one is a 12" sub.

Look at my writeup for my stereo install.  It's in the forums.

I either wanna go throught the ski pass or port my rear deck...which should I do? nd i'm not going to take out my rear speakers...the sub isn't that great

For a cheaper sub with not such great power, I say put the sub in a box.  You'll get the most punch this way.  I went with the ski hole because I didn't want to sacrifice that much trunk space to a setup and I expected to use a 12" sub with a decent power source.  I'm sure the bass could be a lot deeper if I did all the measurements and put it in a box, but all I wanted was a little more low freq response from my audiobooks...er... music (:)) so the free air 12" is plenty for me.  It'll get my car booming if I want but if I wanted to be the ultimate homey, I would have boxed them so I could shake my car apart and deafen myself.

well, see, i have a box right now, but it seems small...it's a 10" sub with a 300w amp... would punching the ski pass out let anymore bass through to my car? or i turned the sub around and faced it throught the ski pass into the cabin? i listen to rock and alternative... so i'm not looking to be the ultimate "homey" either lol

I am not an extreme audiophile but for my bass needs I have 1 10" woofers that are in a sealed box that I take out of the car as is needed.

As for subwoofer position, trial and error is your friend. I have mine facing the trunk and prefer it that way. I have a punched out ski pass as well
