Will an alternator from an m20 fit on the m42? I need another one asap that will get me through until I can get a new one, and I have 2 m20 ones and an m10 one sittng here.

our alternators are pretty standard, i even think some vw use them. check the serial with realoem.com

I just went thru this, but you will need an m42 alt as the mounting points are different unless you rig an m10 or m20 on.
