Thanks Dave and for you input on Hi Performance hoses. Really like their stuff and kept it all OEM looking and should last me as long as it takes me to get s52 engine.

Received the parts to finish the seat hinges. I need to find a foam bolster for the other bottom side. Will try junkyard this weekend, if not, will go on the forums or ebay. I got my seat shock and all new clips. I cleaned the hinges with brake cleaner and then lubed up the springs and gears with bike chain lube. Here are some pics.

New parts:

I have to stop reading this...you're going to cost me a fortune getting both sets of my leather sports re-done!

I definitely agree with the french seams...IMHO the best upholstery stitch, very durable.  Both sets of my sports leather seats have the piping cracked and it makes the seats look very ratty.

Something minor. I needed to get free shipping from Bluntech so got me a new BMW fuse box cover. My original was bad and non OEM. My dad got a new one for his e23 so I took his as it was OEM. Non OEM does not have roundel and fuse numbers. This one just had the big clip broken and one of the small one. I just got my new one with all clips. I will sell the old one on the boards.

New one:

I love that little flashlight, it's been very useful in several occasions...I also have the extra cig plug adapter, great for the GPS.  I'll be looking for the upgraded owner's manual folio at teh pick-n-pull next time I'm there.  It's the little things that make the biggest differences IMHO.

Monty, you're missing the two OEM PITA screws on your new fuse box cover!  I left mine off as well, they just get in the way.

Monty - as you well know I like simple instructions ... I found the site for the manufacturer which you can point renters for the LCAB tools!  Great stuff, thanks for your help!

Haven't done anything to my car recently, due to baby and new house purchase. I just put gas and drive. But oil change is a must every 5k miles with Mobil 1 0w40 European car formula. I also decided to install the UUC magnecitc drain plug to catch little metal shavings. Also less than 20 miles before the odometer hits 200000.

Like $10 bucks I believe. I know sometimes they have a sale and give them for free with a purchase but I didn't want to wait and last oil change it came in a few days after so had to wait until this past oil change to swap it in. Their products are great as I have the SS lines, clutch SS line, the clutch pedal bushings and my favorite, the RK5 gearshift knob with combo e-brake handle.
