Hi DRtothE,

It's the Rear main seal most likely if its engine oil, otherwise it's proberbly the input shaft seal if its tranny fluid leaking.

If it's pissing out oil, then the clutch will have become contaminated. The longer you leave it, obviously the worse it will get.

I would just remove the driveshaft and transmission and have a look at clutch while your in there.

Let me know if you would like part numbers for a clutch kit and rear main seal.
Just before I forget what is your vehicle build date - eg 03/93? and also what vehicle do you have?

Good luck

Date on sticker in door is 09/90, but it's a 91. i own a 318is, and i would love the part #s for the seal. It is oil leaking out of their, and i also need some help on the removal of those parts. If anyone's got a how to, hit me, and thanks.

You mean coolant?

If you got coolant leaking it could be from a number of different places. The head gasket could be leaking externally from the rear of the engine (never seen this though), coolant hoses from the head to the firewall, thats about it. Have a good look, you may think it is from around the bellhousing but it could be from another spot. The plastic coolant connector seems to break after a while (under the intake manifold on the block).
