Smart things to do...

Hello,
I am cleaning my Intake manifold and changing the valve cover gasket, checking the oil pan for bolts are there any smart items to take care of while the intake manifold, valve cover and the oil pan are off? I am taking pic to post later of my timing chain and oil pan.Also I am going to clean my ICV and change any hoses that look worn out.
