i am planning to do that on my racecar! but i want do it on my own.. what sort of steel or aluminum do you recommend? should i make a entire hub or only a bolt on adapter? i am not sure about that.. every idea or critic is welcome

TSW made a conversion a while back, called the "pindrive". Iirc they stopped production, but you might be able to find one still if you look hard enough. Or if youre lucky you can find an original set off an m3 racer.
