trunk dimensions
« on: February 18, 2008, 06:19:32 PM »
does anyone have the dimensions of a trunk frmo a 1991 318i, want to build a box to raise the trunk up about 2.5 inches so that i can bury my amp into the floor and not have it get damaged while still saving space, i just dont want to go outside and measure my trunk because it is to cold and i have to much crap in there right now, so if anyone has a picture of the layout with some dimensions that would be great. thanks.

You don't need an amp, you need an exhaust

i dont really understand that statement, what do you mean an exhaust, i already have the amp and just looking to reclaim trunkspace and do something a little different/creative.

this is very funny!!! but might become a little too much like Bimmerforums

anyways
why don't you screw the amp against the backseat in the trunk? wouldn't lose time and space building a big amp box
but i agree, the best sound you'd get will come from the M42 in the front, not from the speakers in the rear
