the door handles are now available for only 99$, a special and sick bmw-motorsport part...!! send me an email... ;-)

Years ago my brother and I had Triumph TR3. It was the only car I ever saw that could break down sitting still. It had a cable that you pushed down to open the door. You can see it in the pocket of the door trim.

Hey Swiss, you are the man!  Thanks for the pictures.  Amazing stuff.  The foot box photos gave me some good ideas for mine.  Do you remember if they were using bolts or rivots to mount the foot box?

I'm itching to see details of the suspension pieces, especially the rear.

So what's the story Swiss?  How'd you get access to the car?  Do you work for a BMW race team?  I saw your reflecton in one of the pics...BMW-Sauber??? :D

NR1: stainless steel bolts, you can remove the carbon cover and the you have access to the brake and clutch cylinders and the lines.

NR2: unfortunately i dont work for bmw i any way..

NR3: short story: one day i was looking for an ac-schnitzer carbon interieur piece for my e46 dashboard i am fitting into my other e30 318is, see: a swiss 318is (buildups, swaps etc). so i walked in and there she was. i asked the receptionist if i can open the engine hood..!! because i know that the e36 have the s42 engine inside!!
