M42 Club Free Parts Exhange
« on: January 09, 2008, 05:02:03 PM »
I have seen this work pretty well on some other small forums, so I would like to give it a shot here.

RULES:
1. Don't take anything you won't use.
2. If you take something, at least plan to offer something up to others.
3. Buyer pays shipping.

The idea is that lots of people have stuff laying around they don't need, but that others might.

I will start it off:

exhaust bracket and rubber mount

rubber brake hose

valve cover gaskets for spark plug holes

I'll have a whole matching timing chain setup with sprockets & guides...98k miles used, but great condition...might be worth something to someone who doesn't want to spend $500 for new.

next time I get out to the pole barn of parts I will look on my m42 shelf.  I have all the bits from the second m42 engine I bought to get access to a new bottom end.  I'll see if any of its good.
