Trailer hitches
« on: April 28, 2006, 12:17:39 PM »
Anybody running one? I need to get one. I found these:
http://search.cartserver.com/search/search.cgi?cartid=s-1547&bool=AND&category=e_drawtite_search&maxhits=10&keywords=1988&keywords_2=BMW+3&GO=GO%21
just wondering if anybody knows of anything better. Thanks.

I would be VERY carefull with those.
The tongue weight is pretty low, as is the tow load. Those are for the smallest trailers you can use, like little travel trailers only.

Hitches on a unibody is not good. If anything happens your chassis gets twisted. So be carefull.

Most hitches are basically the same, so other than price, you will not do much by shopping around.
