Coil on plug almost done!

Well I got all the parts and decided tonight was the night to do it since i'm going out of town for six months on Sunday. I forgot to take my camera out so I just took a video.

The coil on plug fixed my miss at idle and my miss/hesitation between 2-3k RPMs. It feels like a new car now. My old coils/plug wires must have been shot!

I only had to make two very minor adjustments to get the bracket to fit. One was to cut the mount hole on coil one into a slot with an open end. That way the screw would line up. The other was I had to trim one threaded rod by about 1/4 inch. When it was screwed in all the way it was still rubbing on the plug to the number four coil. Both were very minor though and only took maybe an extra 5-10 minutes to correct.

Thanks Haledj for a near perfect bracket. Its been one of the most rewarding upgrades I've done to this car.

im in the process of doing this as well, can anyone tell me if the coil boot feels a bit loose over the spark plug?  generally, there's a dull snapping action, but with these new coils, it doesn't quite have that feel.  i've adjusted the bracket pretty low already, i wonder if i purchased the wrong boot.  i'll post a pic when i get home.

when you get to remove it you'll see. there is quite a bit of suction on there..
