Why did Sam decide to put the s42 into the Weiss 4door, I thought it was going into the 1600??? Preston
P.S. Denis, Your Sig still hasn't changed.
Ok, first I want to say that this isn't an S42 motor!
If Sam ever log's in to check the thread, I think it goes something like this:
He's over the mod scene and wanted a 4-door commuter car, just a dead reliable sedan to get him around.
The motor in MY car will go into the 1600 and will most likely receive a supercharger!
God dammit! I read this heading of this topic (Dude8383 is an ungrateful traitor) and I thought that I have been p*issed in the eye, since I just bought a steering joint from him. I thought this was somekind of ranting thread for him
Really? Are you sure it was me? I'm not quite sure I remember selling a steering joint! But if any of guys are curious I do have great feedback! I have a thread on R3V and here

haha, I like the emphatic "YEAH" at the end of the first clip.
Let's see some sexy in car pulls with that 2.1
Yeh man, to be honest I was surprised it started on the first shot! The vacuum leak was the little hose of the left where the TPS switch is. Its funny because I reminded myself to hook it up before we started...obviously I forgot

The in-car stuff will come once the headlights go back on it and Sam gets plates and all other associated legal stuff out of the way.
It seems to idle surprisingly smooth....i would have expected it to be fairly lumpy with the cams MM run?
Great work on nearly completing one swap......2 to go.....
Yeh the idle used to be rather lumpy, a lot of it had to do with the M20 lightweight flywheel that MM installed.
We put the stock dual mass and stock clutch on before we swapped the motor into the white car.
After completing this swap, the next 2 will be a piece of cake. In fact, I already decided that the black car will receive the motor from the bottom because it was a PAIN IN THE ASS to drop the motor (the m42) in from the top.
