Short update!

A lot of work has been done to the M50

Sam has been busy cleaning up the engine bay of the white car...and sadly I don't have any "current" pics of it.

Short update dudes:

Took apart the block completely...didn't bother with the plastigage just yet because I'm getting some M52 bits instead

M52 crank, M52 rods, M52 pistons!! MOO POWA!!! Well torque...

Anyways, on to the pics:

I was thinking about getting the block hot tanked...What is the approx cost for this?

Small update:

Finally dropped of the block and M52 crank at the machine shop.

Bought this:

i was going to get wiseco pistons but didn't like the idea of proprietary rings.

came out to $655 shipped!

Block has been cleaned and honed

Going to have them redo the hone because the pistons are 84.480mm.

So I picked up my head from the OTHER machine shop!

Had them do a 3 angle valve job and clean it up
