already have bilsteins... the good old yellow variety.

What will springs do for me?  I noted a real difference when I installed my strut tower brace (upper one).

Thanks,

JMH

Springs will lower it and make your ride stiffer.  You will be able to corner much better too.

Looks pretty clean for that many miles.  What color is that and what camera were you using?

Its a 91, sterlingsilver metallic.  It needs a new paint job on the hood and door.  Since Im used to owning MB diesels, Im used to my cars lasting forever (I have two of them, an 83 and 85, like new).  As such, I spare no expense on my cars, and will likely get a high-quality repaint in the next year or two on the whole car.

I took it with my Nikon D70s, using either my 24-120mm nikkor VR DX lens, or my 105mm nikkor 2.8 VR DX macro lens (I cant recall which).

Another plus on the car looking good and clean - especially the basketweaves. I could never keep them like that when I had them on my car.

wow nice! I wish my m42 looked half as decent, but for me its what's under the hood. How much did you pick yours up for?

$3000 in 2002 with 72k on it. Only major expense was the profile gasket going after being replaced as PM just in case by the dealer...

nice I picked mine up for $500 2 months ago, ive done a few things to help get it road ready and i still need a few more. About $800 to get it road ready than another $2000 for full body work and paint to black. But i really admire your ride.

Your four door looks very nice.  I have high hopes that mine will look as good in a couple weeks when bodywork and paint is completed.

Classic!

I'm a fan of 4-door 3-series Bimmers.  Yours looks great!  I bought a 1983 300D back in 1993 (gone now), and drove it for a decade before buying a 4-door 1987 325 (gone also).  Now I have a 1992 325i, and am contemplating whether to look for a 1991 318i.  Your car makes it very compelling.  Thanks for sharing.
