«

Does anyone have a source? Ive search but heard that they are discontinued!
This should have added a nice complete sound to the exhaust system with a few gains, anyone have any experience or have a set?
Thanks

I think the cheap 4-1 headers on ebay are supersprint copies. correct me if I'm wrong.

The M42 comes with headers from the factory. Also, factory engineers are often smarter than tuning companies, so I would say stay away from these.

The factory 4-2-1 headers give the engine a bit more torque and bottom end than a 4-1 would, and it has been proven somewhere that even the factory headers flow too much to be truly optimal.

How come when you port and polish the intake you gain Hp if the factory headers flow too much?

That's the intake. Saying that the headers flow a bit too much means that more air can leave the engine than can enter it. With head work (i.e. port and polish) the intake and exhaust would be more balanced.

How much does a good port and polish run? Just curious for my own knowledge.
