Wiring up lights!
« on: December 04, 2007, 12:14:33 PM »
Okay. I recently got my car and the previous owner has the headlights hooked up where it turns on with the car and the switch is basically useless. The fogs don't turn on either and neither does the high beams unless I hold the turn signal forward instead of pushing it back. My rear lights don't work either unless I connect them straight to the battery but I have to keep connecting and disconnecting it which is starting to become annoying for night driving. Can anybody help me out on ways to get my lights back to normal so i can use my switches?

I have all fuses except for K9. Is there anyway to tell if the 'K' fuses are blown?

K's are relays (also called solenoids), not fuses. They don't blow, but they can get stuck (rarely do, though). Sorry, can't help any further than that, as I can't remember what the k9 relay does.
