Anyone have a detailed R&R for the M42 head?
I want to do a P&P on the heads and Manifold, but have no idea on the removal. I read somewhere that I need a tool to hold the cams in place...are there reference points I should be looking for?

no, you dont need a tool to hold the cams.  Just mark the position of the timing chain on both gears at #1TDC

put a piece of computer paper under the cam caps. the clearances is so small that the paper will help keep it tight. thats what i did when i replaced my chain.

Mahalo for the link!
However, now there seems to be another problem. I'll post a new thread for a response.
