IE are probably the best and I think can be bought in the biggest diameter. Suspension Techniques bars are also very good, but they don't come with all of the mounting hardware and brackets.

If one were to get the IE bars and I were going to be primarily on the street with spirited driving and the occasional track day. Should I get the 25mm front with 22mm rear or should I get the 22mm front with 19mm rear?? They are the same price on the site but I am just curious if I need the really stiff bars. If I am going to spend the money I want the best but I would like to still have some of a decent ride on the street.

Bar stiffness interacts with the spring rate. The main considerations are rough/smooth pavement, sharp, short turns vs high speed sweepers, and the biggie - how the driver likes it. Try to drive some E30's with different setups before making a $300 commitment.

IE bars are the best out there for E30's IMHO, if i was you id ride in a car with stiff sway bars and get a feel for how go-cart feeling the car is

Which set do you have installed and how does it ride. What else do you have to compliment these bars?

Where in OH are you located?????

Done deal!! I bought the 25mm front with 22mm rear kit from Ireland Engineering.  Happy auto-xing to me.

I also have the HR sport springs. Pretty excited to get this car all together and finally get to drive it. haven't driven it yet. it was in pieces when i got it so i decided to put it back together the right way. Put all new components for suspension, new exhaust, new brakes and rebuild the engine. the only thing that sucks about this car is that it is expensive. oh well. sounds like it will be worth it in the end.

on a different note: hopefully we will have better luck next year!!!!

NICE!!! IE bars are so nice! I'm seriously jealous!! I can't wait to upgrade my sway bars to IE's. I've bought a few things from them and there shipping is great! Great company to buy from i highly recommend ordering from them and not resellers

I was very fortunate to run into some money so I am taking advantage of it while I have it. So my car is getting an entirely new suspension and rebuilding the engine. It has been fun.
