Front Bumper Question
« on: October 29, 2007, 12:44:10 PM »
I am looking to replace the two black strips that are stacked directly above the valence lip. They are about 2 feet in length and about 2-3 inches thick. I can't find them or the part numbers. If anyone has any insight I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I hear the euro bumper fillers cut out out the marker lights. They would be a good replacement but im having a hard time locating some myself

If you are referring to the 2 black plastic strips that are approxiatly 3 1/2 feet in length and go through the center of the front bumper, where the turn signal lights are, then their numbers are 51 11 1 971 615, and 51 11 1 971 616. I believe they are called the front impact strips. I bought mine new from Bavarian Auto Recycling, 1-800-726-4269 for $35.84 each. I hope this helps.

abraham motorsports has the euro bumper trip that deletes the sidemarkers, you can also get them from the dealer...

euro part # as follows (front L-R, rear L-R)

51 12 1 945 927
51 12 1 945 928

51 11 1 945 907

http://www.abrahamsmotorsport.com/e30.htm, damn, you beat me to it!

i think he is talking about the plastic covers for the two slits in the lower valence. the slits used for the oil cooler in the M20 E30's.

#13 and #14 above. http://www.bpmd.com sells them.

the ones for our car are solid, while the ones for the M20 are vented, i recomend the vented ones, they look alot cooler! and the upper slit is not supposed to have anything in it (in europe it was covered).
