Vibration--worse under accelleration and turning right. I REALLY notice it when I leave the house and the neighborhood--I have to make a fairly sharp right turn to go up a hill. Definitely more pronounced while the car is cold. Seems to fade out as the car warms up (after 20 to 30 minutes of driving).
On the recommendations at Roadfly, I tried replacing the Center Support Bearing--I did notice some tearing in the rubber when I changed it. Ordered it from AutohausAZ.
Vibration still there.
I noticed while under the car that the trans mounts were torn off at the top.
Ordered those (actually the thicker ones for the E21 I think). Replaced them with no issues.
Vibration STILL there.
Checked the Guibo (Stupid--I should have just done it while doing the CSB). Looks intact--no major cracks through it, no chunks missing--there are a few faint cracks around the areas where the bolts go, but looks fairly solid at this time.
I'm getting frustrated--I decided to fix the mess under the intake--and had to order the plastic pipe--Broken at all 4 connection points!! That was the source of my leak. Had to wait 3 days for the dealer to get the part in, then had to do it after work (in the dark) because the garage is getting full. I put the ICV in backwards--some loping at idle (1400rpm), but I want better hoses anyway, and I re-routed it to near the power brake booster (as suggested in some posts here).
I'd like to get it running well. It is my daily commuter (for the gas mileage).
I'm getting TIRED of ordering one thing, it not working, then paying shipping and waiting again for something else!
Any thoughts, help would be great!!
Thanks!
