Im pretty sure its an m42 engine out of a 1992 318i its 1.9 and it had a blown head gasket. so what am i getting into towards my drop

The 1.9 is M44, not M42.

k thanks so  its m44 right. 1.9 liter how hard would it be to fix it up and swap it./
