Single mass conversion question
« on: April 21, 2006, 11:16:25 AM »
What flywheels will work? Does it HAVE to be an 'I' flywheel and not an eta flywheel [both did come in singlemass] What years will work? Ive heard only 89+ 325i singlemasses will work, and if so, anyone know why?

Thanks!

I believe the 2.7 liter "eta" engine cars (325e and es) had a dual mass flywheel for some reason.  I think any other E30 6 cylinder flywheel will worth though.

Where did you see it that price???  I paid close to $100.  It's a dealer only part, so I wouldn't expect the variance to be that great.  Plus, I got 10 or 15% off the list retail price.
