if you don't mind draining the diff, you can unbolt the diff from the subframe, lower the diff with a jack with the half shafts attached, remove the diffs rear cover and have a new bushing pressed in. There are polyurethane diff bushings (bmwman91 has one) that don't require a press, also.
Now is an excellent time to check out your driveline, including the guibo, check the driveshaft for play, check the half shafts, put fresh fluid in the diff, and make sure your speedo sensor is hanging in and the wiring is still ok.
