It's a risk. By lowering that much you're also screwing up your suspension geometry, unless you have some aftermarket adjustable parts.

No way would I go for new OEM springs at $900 retail. That'll buy any aftermarket springs, Bistein shocks, and tacos on the way home.

got a new pic of my car not the best angle to see how low it is but you get the idea

i cant go over a coffee cup of its side i hit and it ripped the top off and bent the cup. but a squirrel some how ducked down and i just made it over him today. i think he was a little scared.

i will get a pic of my wheel turned all the way to one side that can show you how little suspension i have. its so close to my fender. it did rub a couple times. no biggie tho just a little touch up paint.

#29964 H&R sports with billy sports

good drop, handles well (not as well as H&R Race / IE stage III or GC) but I'm satisfied. I drove my car in the 5 boros (NYC) truly terrible roads with no problems. I highly recommend and there are packages available.

The springs are hard to find used, but a lot of kids upgrade to coilovers and sell their relatively low mileage sport shocks for relatively cheap.

Anyway, my 2 cents. Sorry for the postwhorage but I'm a satisfied customer.

thats not a bad question now my car is lowered and going in the garage for the winter in the spring it will have sports on it and then I'm making a strut tower bar. after that i might get sway bars also wondering whats a good upgrade from the stock 318is?
