Windy City BMWCCA Vintage Day *56k = Bad*
« on: October 02, 2007, 04:23:43 PM »
Well, finally had a slow day at work to make some jpg's of a pretty cool annual BMWCCA vinatage day :D

Had some extremely rare cars show up, 16 2002's, 2 M1's!, a Z1, one of two true registered tii tourings in North America (the other is in Canada), and some nice goodies in the parking lot!

To view the full album, go the following link.. but here are some nice teasers... Yeah, the Alpine E30 is my humble m42!  The black M5 in the first pic is a Dinan Turbo, and yeah the orange 2002 is a factory Cabriolet.  The M3 is the local BMWCCA director's car, bought new by him with ~50k miles currently, it was my personal favorite!

I wonder how they got that Z1 registered in the US.

That was cool to see the 2002 variants. Have any more pics of the 2002 touring?

Sure, I have a few more.  Here you go....

Not sure how he registered the Z1.  My buddy spoke to him for awhile after I took off and got a ride in it.  I'll see if he knows.  I did talk to the tii Touring owner and he imported it last year from Vancouver.  It was one of two in North America originally registered in Canada.

Thanks for posting those extra pics. 2002 touring must be a rare find.
