Hey guys im a new guy.  I just found this great site.  I recently purchased a 1991 318is.  I am an e36 guy so i am brand new to the e30s.  I will have lots of questions for you guys.  Here are some pictures of my car.

Plans so far are:
-Euro Grill
-Euro Smilies
-GroundControl Coilovers
-BBS RS if i can find some

I have no idea what kind of engine modifications are acctually worth doing?

Interior is really clean

thats the american option. Most US 318is cars have that interior. Other option was tan cloth, yuk.

Only engine modification I would do right now is throw in a K&N filter into the stock airbox.  The car looks pretty damn clean except for the iS lip.

Looks great. Have fun modding her.

FYI, there's a set of 15" RS' for sale on r3vlimited/bf.c. Same as the ones you see in my sig. They would look great on your car :)

Thanks guys.

I really would like a set of 16s. but i dont know i have to go make some money first.  Ha i figured i would not want to mod this one as much as i wanted to mod my e36 M3 but its just as bad if not worse with this car:rolleyes:

I will have lots of questions for you guys eventually.  From jumping around on the forum it looks like everyone is very helpful and knows alot.  I look forward to learning everything i can from you guys.

What is the stock piece that goes there?  The PO is the one that installed that.

Nice car!

Normally there is a short rubber ture that runs from the airbox to a hole in that plastic shield behind the back of the driver's side headlights.

Thanks.  Where could i buy that or is there somekind of aftermarket replacment that i can buy?  I think this weekend i will be cleaning the engine bay so i will be posting some more pics.

Also i remember seeing a write up on painting the engine covers black.  Does someone know where it is?  and how hard/how much time it will take?
