Where do you guys purchase your suspension components.

Just browsing through, I noticed many of your running setups like IE Stage 3 springs, KW 55/35 (or whatever spring rate), Ground Control Coilovers, and all the associated M3 control arms, bushings etc..

Where do you find the best deals on these setups, what online vendors? I'm new to the BMW scene.

BMAParts has free shipping on orders over $50. They are lowest cost overall. I just got some "FAG" rear wheel bearings from them. Good for a laugh when you open the box.

Most of my car will be built with parts from Bavarian Autosport and Turner Motorsport.  Turner has some great racing and performance parts, and probably the best prices on some of these, but thier customer service is lousy at best.  I honestly hate doing business with those yankees, but they honestly are so much cheaper that I simply put up with it.

Kudos to Bavarian Autsport!  :D
They are the best online BMW retailer IMHO.  They have an excellent web site and carry probably the largest selection of OEM and replacement parts (and some performance parts) for our cars.  Thier service is excellent and the parts are always top quality.  Also, I know it's a small thing..  but the fact that they use actual BMW part numbers to identify thier parts makes things so much easier when you are rebuilding a car to the extent I am.

Autohaus AZ is significantly cheaper on a few items (like sensors), but they damaged a few parts in shipping and a few other parts were "no name brand" parts.  I wont be doing business with them again.

BMA Parts is also excellent, but thier selection of replacement parts for the 318is seems selective.

Just my $0.02 worth as I've dealt with most of them.

I recently ordered my bilstein sport shocks and H&R sport springs from Turnermotorsports. Arrived in 2 days (I'm in Canada) Great service for a great product at a great price! I'm definatly buying there again.

The prices are really good. I guess it's okay if you don't have to deal with the "human" element. And, I use that term lightly. ;)

I've spent a lot of time on the phone with Bavarian Autosport as well as Patrick from BMA. Those experiences were much very positive. I too was supprised at how bad the service was with the people at Turner. I had a much different impression before actually dealing with them.

I like ireland, I've had good luck dealing with them. I've emailed Jim several times and had great responding time from him. He's very honest and even helped me out when i wasn't buying products from them. But I do know several people who had bad luck with Ireland and have never gotten responses from emails and such.

I used to order all my stuff from BFBMW.com ... but when they moved and changed names, they stopped having the best prices.

I order mostly through BMAparts.com
