Bought it in October 2004. Got a great deal on it in part because the left rear shock mount broke during the test drive and the salesman panicked when he heard all the noise from the back. Salesman did this  and I did this :)

Since then I've done a lot of work to this thing.

-Replaced the rear shock mounts with something better, can't remember maybe the Turner stuff?
-Repaired cracked engine mount tab on the front subframe. Installed the Turner reinforcement kit.
-Steering rack was leaking.
-Replaced the timing chain tensioner. All the underhood rattling help drive down the purchase price too. :)
-Guibo was shot.
-All the shocks were leaking. HR sport springs and Bilstein shocks now.
-All the front suspension rubber was a mess. All new now and put the Treehouse Racing control arms bushings in.
-Shift linkage was like a wet noodle.
-Odometer gears cracked.

I have started the COP mod. I have installed the coils and it has been a wonderful transformation over the tired stock wires.

Installed a 93 Mark D chip today. Another wonderful addition to this car.

Next up is bodywork and paint. Going to add the Taurus sideskirts because they look pretty good, are cheap, and I won't have to fix a big, ugly dent on the rocker panel on the passenger side.

Pictures are from the dealer's ad.

Good deal, I'm putting Taurus skirts on mine as well. Just need some more time to finish sanding. It takes forever to get through all the stock paint, if that is what you are going to do...

I have no measurements to quantify the chip but I feel like it has done a lot of good things for the car. Throttle response seems better and the engine just feels like it's spooling up faster than before.

I'm happy with it.
