Count me in. $70 plus shipping, not bad at all.

I just want to get that COP done so I can clean the wiring up.

Does anyone have the exact part number of the coils needed to do this mod? I have seen where the E46 coils are needed, but I haven't seen it confirmed. When looking for parts, there's nothing like a part number. I am thinking about doing this mod, but I would want to use new coils, so price and availability are important in making the decision. Part number anyone?

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BN53&mospid=47713&btnr=12_1051&hg=12&fg=05

that is the REALOEM link to the coils with the part numbers
they are from the e46 and they all appear to be the same.

here is pelican part's listing for the coils

high performance replacements are available as well through most BMW performance parts dealers

part number is 12131748018

It'll be around $250 + shipping (combined) for 4 Bremi units and one COP bracket.

I bought 4 used coils for $60, as another option.

so that would be $130 plus shipping if you are ok with used parts.

I have seen the coils for as cheap as $10

I like this option better.

I will hunt around BFC for used coils, I can't imagine them being a wearing item.
