im looking for some new wheels for my 91 is i want a stagard fitment but im haveing trouble finding 17s in stagard fit that are 4lug anyone have a good website that caries wheels like this

Someone in the forum will probably shoot me for this reply. I had my old wheels from my boxster S in order for them to fit I got a set of adapters. 17x7 with 205/55/17 in front and 255/40/17 17/8.5 had to do some fender rolling so the 255 will not rub, they rub before that but not much with the fender rolling they fit great did some Xcross practice tonight no rubbing car handles great with these staggard wheels.

This is what they look like without being lowered, I am in the process in getting some springs to lower it.

Having driven several well sorted e30's with staggered setups "handles great" is not what I would describe it as. All of them had horrible plowing understeer... and that was with 20mm of tire stagger.. you are running 50!

I've got 7.5x16 and 9x16 and it handles great. But I am running the same size tire all around at the moment lol. When I need new tires I'm considering 225f/245r

btw jordan didn't you run 225f/245r or something close on your stroker?

Yes, initially when I did the 5lug conversion I was running around on late model e36 M3 DS2 wheels, 17x8.5 rear, 17x7.5 front with 245/225 respectively. I felt it handled horrible.
To be perfectly honest it was bad enough I felt it was just plain unsafe, and I'm not even talking about pushing the car.. one distict memotry was trying to make a uturn at 20mph with 6 lanes to do it... scrubbing the entire way. I changed that out as soon as I could to 8.5 DS2's all around with 255 rear and 245 front. This was worlds better but still had a mild understeer.

Once I switched to 245 all around on the CSL's the car was perfect.

Every e30 I've ever driven with staggered rubber handled the same with horrible understeer.

The front was no issue at all, just standard fender rolling. The rears required complete rolling of the lip up on itself, and very minor clearance of the inner well so the tire would not rub there under heavy cornering deflection. Really its all about offset.

Too true, I'm running 15x7 wheels and 205/55 tires and it rubs. My new 205/50's work fine though. dang I need new rims

mine are 7.5x16 et20/9x16 et15

I have only rubbed once in the rear when I was on a big hill going over a bump. I need to roll the fenders some time. The wheels came w/ 205's all the way around lol. I would love to run 235 or 245 all the way around but I may have to get fender flares for that, idk...

Installed my new tires with the staggard wheels, 245 all around as mentioned in one of the reply. Now I can really say it handles great. The front are tight but no rubbing and with the rear fender edge rolled no rubbing on the rear.

Daugther is driving the car to and from school at this time I will post the photo when I get my car back. Here 330ci should be done this week end.
