ic suspension ?
« on: August 13, 2007, 05:10:21 PM »
Okay totally green in this department.
I have just bought a '91 cabrio...nice shape.  It needs new front struts. I would like to go to a little better with the suspension....have been reading the posts but still not certain what to do.  I will probably need to change the control arms, ball joints etc...cash flow is also an issue.  This car will be just for pleasure, but want to do better than just OEM.  I saw some bilsteins for sale TC's on ebay, but am not sure what would be best to do.  Maybe all dumb questions, but still worth asking before the money is out.  I know you will have opinion...thanx

I'd go with bilstein Sport dampers and H&R sport springs. As far as bushings go, it is really a personal preference of ride vs. handling.
