That was the paint when I got the car. I don't think it's the factory paint and I'm not sure what color it is exactly. It is a metallic black though. I made it out of that one real lucky. That is for sure.

KC-135 refueler, what field are you at?

@Nivola: very much like... pic and car. It'd be cool to meet up once I get back to NorCal and get my ITBs in/tuned.

@e9nine: those are 16" K1s, no? Tire sizes/wheel offsets in sig pic por favor.

What exhaust are you running?  The dual tips look good

My photo was shot last September at Lincoln Airpark, Lincoln, Nebraska, fwiw.

I get to run sometimes at Forbes Field, too, and some awesome planes land and take off there, including once a series of taildraggers. Probably trainers or something, I don't know that stuff, but whatever ... cool as hell.

Correct @ K1s. 16x8 et43

Sig wheels = BBS RK 003 17x8.5 et15 + 235-40-17 Dunlop Direzza StarSpec (square all across the board).

Talk to me about your wheel/tire fitment with the 17s?

Fender rolling required, correct?

This is the final frontier for me in my autoX car. I've been on 15X8s for awhile and would love to switch to 17s for all the usual reasons -- 235s, wider range of competitive tires to try, gearing advantage on longer, faster courses, etc.

Your 17-inch setup is damn near exactly what I envisioned.
