« on: April 15, 2006, 03:37:57 PM »
Anyway here is my car, finally.

Mods:
-Pretty much stock (thats the way i like it).
-rebuilt engine, suspension, shfter (and yes its a stock shift lever...I can shift fast enough.) and most of the interior.
-leather boot for e-brake
-anolog clock
-alarm delete
-bilistein shocks W/ stock springs (love the setup), rubber bushings (i like it quiet).
-"is"lip spoiler
-oil cooler inlet peice on air dam
-french fogs W/ clear lens's
-H1 high beams W/ 100W bulbs
-55W rack mounted backup lights
-tinted windows, new fenders (front)
-chrome ex. tip
-michlin tires (best mod so far
-Over 1000W Alpine stereo (mind you i only have an 8" sub, i dont like to "bump")
-and my "M" stripes, i dont consider being a poser unless there is an actual "M"

Mods for the future:
-Chip
-more sound insulation
-LSD diff (possibly 3.93)
-re-upholstered leather seats....possibly 2 tone
-new carpet (the factory stuff is very cheap)
-.....i think thats it, maybe a re-wraped steering wheel, oh and definetly a new paint job, the paint really looks like shit!

picks no worky, first pic is nice, i like what you'v done. personaly i like the M stripes, if its a technic car then why not. However i think you need to drop the front...  and perhaps some euro trim and detexturize the air dam. did you keep the motor stock  or did you build it up a little when you rebuilt it? has it been dyno'd?

Engine is stock. i will detexturize the air dam, rocker panels, and rear skirt when i get the car re-painted. for now im just keeping it stock, im trying to buy a house so im being very frugul when it comes to my car. I have good plans for it though.

you can buy them from bmw still, they're fairly expensive and iits cheaper just to piece your own together and it will look the same. the visor is a nice touch tho, i really like the racks with the visor for some reason.

Ya i paid a premium price for it on ebay because thule doesnt make that visor anymore (it make the wind noise VERY much quiter).

Hey does anyone ski/snowboard in the Tahoe area?
