awsome, I didn't leave my engine bay blue for long though.  It stands out to much

Wow...  I'm foaming at the mouth!  That setup is sooo cool!  How much HP gain is there to going to individual throttle bodies like this.  I don't know if it's really any different from ours, but I noticed that the MAF is from an E36 (see the chalk markings on it).  

The only problem I can see is that that intake manifold comes out the side vs sitting on top like the OE M42 one.  So, it looks as if the brake MC and some things might have been moved.  The placement seems unusual and I don't see the booster.

it's an e36 race car.  I doubt the booster was used.

Yeah, looks to be an E30.  You can tell by the heater air inlet grills.  It has been converted to a tube-frame it would appear though, or has a serious rollcage.

that's an interesting dbilas setup - interesting that the plenum is carbon. mb the guy used the original as a mould. also seems to be pointing to the sky more than other dbilas ones i've seen?
car certainly isn't an e36. but the engine is definitely an e36 m42, which might explain the tbs being up at an angle - engine might be at the wrong angle..
the "MAF" isn't a MAF but an AFM.
i'm really not a fan of that dbilas plenum, its designed towards making it fit and work with the AFM, rather than making it serve its purpose as a plenum well. would like to see how cyl 1 runs compared to cyl 4! compare it to an s14 plenum or mine.
i also can't believe how many setups like this i've seen with our tiny afm aperture and flap that must way max out with so much air going in.

couple of other observations - looks like there's very little throttle travel if you look at the throttle cable. really not a fan of how the dbilas setup does the fpr and vacuum take-off either.
also anyone tell me what the high perssure lines by the TPS are? look like p/s but that's where the alternator is on uk cars.
last q, anyone see an ICV on there?

Dbilas setup looks like it's built to fit many applications.  And, looks like it's really designed to be used with Weber carburated DCOE units.  That's really an awsome carburated setup though.  

As far as the car..  It's definately an E30.  It's not a tube frame (that's something very different), but the best way to build a safety cage is to bring it into the engine bay through the firewall.

quite interesting the idea of it being built to fit many applications, hadn't thought of that! not 100% about that though, as the m42 is quite awkward and i'd have thought bloody difficult for a generic one to fit - the dbilas one misses our brake servo (ok on other cars i've seen, this one's a bad example!) and hooks up with our AFM very well. plus i'd have thought its too much of a compromise in terms of acting as a plenum chamber to be universal. i might well be wrong though, is def an interesting idea. if so, that's a bit crap!

i think what you're saying is that the dbilas kit uses a DCOE manifold/flange style and some throttle bodies. its not designed for carbs. jenvey and most companies use the DCOE fitment for throttle bodies.

i agree. the car's an e30, engine an e36 m42.
